Safety is our first concern and our top priority on the relay course. Following the safety guidelines is not a suggestion, it is a requirement. Any individual or team that chooses not to follow our safety-first policy will be immediately disqualified from the race. The safety of our runners is too important for any error on this topic.
What we do to keep you safe:

- Professional traffic control at each necessary road crossing.
- Cones lining necessary roads on relay course.
- Signs on necessary roads marked, "RUNNING RACE IN
PROGRESS ON ROAD" - Signs designating one mile to go before every exchange.
